you know, i have these pair of shoes. i've had them for ages; they're a bit dull, a bit irritating, and i still remember the first time when they gave me horrible blisters. but at the end of the day, after trying on all my other pairs of shoes i still end up wearing those shoes. maybe it's the comfort. maybe it's the familiarity. maybe i'm so attached to them and i'm afraid of losing them. maybe it's because i love them.
i love literature and its devices.
